BIOSECURE is a four-year EU-funded research project with a budget of 5 million euros and 17 partners across 12 European countries. The goal? To help decision-makers in livestock farming better understand, prioritise, and implement biosecurity measures that are evidence-based, cost-effective, and sustainable.
BioCheck.Ugent leads the work on exploitation, communication, and dissemination. We provide in-depth insights into current biosecurity practices and contribute to the development of new Biocheck scoring systems within the project framework.
